    Moving Forward

    Time was going fast; I didn't know what the future held

    I was stuck on the past, and couldn't move forward

    The days was shorter and the night were going by quicker, but still I couldn't focus on what was coming ahead, because I was steady looking back

    Instead of thinking about now I was thinking about then, reminiscing about back when

    Now this is the present and you're in my life, no longer am I focused on the darkness, but I am looking forward to the light

    You gave me sunshine and healed my wounded heart

    Because of you my vision is clearer and now for the first time I have hope

    You helped me with my struggles and everything else I needed help through

    You're love is unconditional and true

    So now I can finally move forward because I see my future and its with you
